Classes are held at Northeast Christian Church on Brownsboro Road, just
outside the Gene Synder in Louisville, KY (~12 miles from downtown
Louisville, near the Summit Shopping Center)directions will be provided
when you register.

Class size averages 4-6 couples and will not exceed 10 couples.

The charge is $75 for the 6 week series, a $10 deposit will confirm your
enrollment, with the rest payable at the first class; other payment terms
can be arranged.

Bring 2+ pillows and a blanket to sit on. Wear comfortable clothes. I
will provide drinks and snacks during the class.

I am not currently taking doula clients. The good news is there are many
good doulas in Louisville, so check with
www.birthcarenetwork.com, call 5-6
doulas, interview 2-3 in person and choose the one who feels right for you!
Average fees in Louisville are $350, but money should never be the reason to
not have a doula if you want one! Most doulas will work on a sliding scale
or payment plan.

My qualifications include certification by Lamaze International (www.lamaze.org)
and the International Childbirth Educator’s Association (www.ICEA.org). I
am also a certified doula (labor support professional) through Doulas of
North America (www.DONA.org) and ICEA and have attended approximately 100
births. I was previously certified as a Bradley Method instructor and a
Hypnobirthing instructor and incorporate techniques from both methods in my
current classes.
